A popular Wooster restaurant is set to reopen nearly a year after a destructive fire left its future uncertain. Farmer Boy will welcome customers back on December 26th. On February 16th, around 11:24 p.m., flames engulfed the kitchen and spread to the attic. Wooster fire officials declared the cause accidental. News 5 reported on the aftermath of the fire, where workers, including longtime server Tammy Williams, who had dedicated 27 years to the restaurant, were left jobless.

Weaver Custom Homes played a crucial role in restoring the restaurant while preserving its nostalgic ambiance.
