The new family festival is taking place in Victoria Park
A new family festival is taking place in Southport with stars from CBBC and Horrible Histories live on stage.
Now organisers are encouraging people to show their support and head to the festival where there will be two days of family fun. The line up includes live music from Andy and the Oddsocks - fronted by CBBC star Andy Day, Horrible Histories ‘Barmy Britain’ live on stage, Jurassic Live Dinosaur show and Yolanda’s Band Jam.
There will also be a spectacular circus show, Roald Dahl's 'Imagination Seekers', science demonstrations, live wrestling, a huge graffiti wall, a teddy bears’ picnic, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and immersive LEGO City. “We are an independent organisation that runs the Smithdown Road Community Festival every year, and this is easily the most ambitious and exciting thing we’ve ever put on!”
