South African TV Show in Trouble Over Drug Bust DeathThe crew of the South African TV show Sizok'thola is under investigation after a suspected drug dealer, Robert "Kicks" Varrie, died during an interrogation. The controversial show focuses on crime that happens in the community and targets drug dealers, thugs and migrants without the necessary legal documents to be in the country. It is unclear whether any charges will be filed against the Sizok'thola crew.

Numerous financial bailouts by the South African government and taxpayers over the years, did not help the airline get over its financial crisis. The airline was placed in business rescue in 2021.
