South African TV Show in Trouble Over Drug Bust Death SouthAfrica
The crew of the South African TV show Sizok'thola is under investigation after a suspected drug dealer, Robert"Kicks" Varrie, died during an interrogation. The controversial show focuses on crime that happens in the community and targets drug dealers, thugs and migrants without the necessary legal documents to be in the country.
Varrie's girlfriend, Eunice Raadt, claims that he was suffocated. The police have opened a murder case, but no arrests have been made. The Moja Love channel has confirmed that the crew was present when Varrie died, but they are still investigating the circumstances. Varrie's death has raised questions about the methods used by the Sizok'thola crew, with some people accusing them of using excessive force and others defending their actions, saying that they were simply trying to get Varrie to confess.
