The family of Gary More have spoken out after his killer was convicted today (February 20) at Glasgow High Court. Gary was shot outside his home in Airdrie on September 6, 2018. His heartbroken family have now spoken out following the conviction and have thanked Police Scotland for their hard work and professionalism.

The family of Gary More have spoken out after his killer was convicted today (February 20) at Glasgow High Court. During a joint trial which lasted 15 weeks, Barry Harvey was found guilty this afternoon of the murder of dad-of-two, Gary More . Two other men were convicted for their involvement in the murder following a trial in 2022. Gary was shot outside his home in Airdrie on September 6, 2018.

His heartbroken family have now spoken out following the conviction and have thanked Police Scotland for their hard work and professionalism. Gary's mother Angela and sister Lynsey said: “Gary was a much-loved Dad to two young children, he was a son, a brother, a nephew, an uncle and a friend to many. He will be remembered by us every day - as a gentle giant with the best laugh, he loved the gym, loved listening to his favourite songs on repeat but most importantly loved his family, and was loved in return by them
