Family members of 18 potential coronavirus carriers from Senate to undergo rapid testing: Lacson COVID19

MANILA - The family members of the 18 Senate workers who are potential carriers of the coronavirus disease 2019 will undergo rapid testing to prevent the possible spread of the virus in their communities, Sen. Panfilo Lacson said Monday.

"We are contacting the families the 18 Senate employees and staff so they can also be tested at the Senate clinic tomorrow, free of charge," Lacson told reporters in a text message. The 18 Senate personnel have been sent to hospitals and are expected to be swabbed to confirm if they are carriers of the virus.

IgG means that a person has antibodies but has likely recovered from a virus, while IgM means that antibodies are currently combatting a virus inside the body.
