According to the UP Office of the Student Regent, four relief volunteers and 14 residents of Barangay Central, were “taken to Camp Karingal without any charges presented.”
Central, Quezon City, on Friday for allegedly violating quarantine protocols in a community kitchen they initiated for the urban poor in the area.
The Quezon City Police District on Saturday said it would file charges against the 18. The volunteers, who were manning a community kitchen in the area, went to the barangay hall to assist the residents of participating in Labor Day protests.
