They loved to get food together and get their hair done, Shaketta’s sister, Kaleesha, said. Shaketta wore her long, natural hair in twists, and would take her daughter to get hers braided.Shaketta’s family said she loved to eat and cook for others and had dreams of owning her own food truck. Among her favorites were ribeye steak, lobster, chicken and dumplings, and barbecue.Rosaland loved Shaketta’s homemade, fruit-infused drinks. The last one she made is in Rosaland’s fridge, sealed in a jar.
