Raheem Morris doesn’t want to hear about the production of his Atlanta Falcons’ offense. The coach is ready to see impressive yardage translate to more points. The Falcons will be looking for an offensive revival following their bye week when they face Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris , front, looks at the scoreboard as he leaves the field with wide receiver Darnell Mooney in tow after an NFL football game against the Denver Broncos, Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, in Denver . Los Angeles Chargers running back Gus Edwards works out before an NFL football game against the Las Vegas Raiders Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, in Inglewood, Calif.

A Falcons offense led by quarterback Kirk Cousins and running back Bijan Robinson had too many drives grind to an early halt in their two straight losses.Bears fire coach Matt Eberflus with free-falling team last in NFC NorthAtlanta leads the league with only 11.5% of its drives ending without a first down. The Falcons rank eighth with 361.5 yards per game, but rank only 16th with their average of 22.1 points.

Los Angeles had won five of six because of the threat of a running attack. Entering Week 13, Dobbins is fourth in the AFC with 766 yards and his 24 carries of at least 10 yards is tied for third. The Chargers will be facing a Falcons defense they are somewhat familiar with. Morris employs many of the same philosophies and principles that Brandon Staley did during his nearly three seasons in charge.
