Fairview Park’s Gemini Center natatorium work moving along swimmingly

Open swim time has taken another step toward coming to fruition at the Gemini Center’s closed competition and leisure pools.

FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio --

“Having our city administrators, design team, owner’s rep and Welty all in the same room had a bit of a Dream Team feel to it. I can’t wait to see this whole process play out.” In terms of construction parking, the lot south of the library will be used, with recently acquired Lorain Road properties north of the Gemini Center earmarked for material storage when needed.Closed for roughly three years, the Gemini Center’s natatorium -- which opened in 2008 -- first experienced a leaky roof, eventually followed by the discovery of a leaky pool.
