Classes were canceled Monday after a City of Streetsboro employee saw a man wearing all black and possibly carrying a long gun. Streetsboro Police Chief Tricia Wain said the man was spotted around 6 a.m.
Monday on SR 303 near Kirby Lane.As a precaution, the bus garage on Annalane Drive, was placed under lockdown and the decision was made to cancel school. Officers searched the area with “all available technology,” including drones, said Chief Wain. All schools buildings were also searched.“I’m pretty sure the Streetsboro police have thoroughly done their job., so I feel safe,” said Jeremy McMillan.
