Inbound and outbound trains were halted near River Grove after Train 105 hit a pedestrian near Hanson Park in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood at around 2 p.m., the transit agency said on its website. Antioch-bound Train 115 and Train 116, which was headed to Chicago, were canceled as a result.Antioch-bound passengers were advised to take Train 117, which was scheduled to depart Chicago at 6 p.m.Inbound and outbound trains were initially halted at around 2:03 p.m., but had resumed by 2:44 p.m.Train 2219, which was scheduled to arrive Big Timber Road at 2:52 p.m., will operate on express service from Galewood to Big Timber Road amid extensive delays. Train 2221 will serve passengers at intermediate stops, Metra said.
