MELAKA: Melaka Pakatan Harapan has named former Chief Minister Adly Zahari as the state Opposition chief.
In a statement, state Pakatan Harapan secretary Khoo Poay Tiong said Adly would lead the Opposition bloc during the one-day state legislative assembly on May 11.
"The proceeding is held for the first time after Melaka experienced a political impasse in March," he said on Saturday .Khoo added 11 assemblymen from Gadek, Machap Jaya, Durian Tunggal,Hilir and Bemban have pledged their support for Adly.
