Cleveland patrol officer Rayshon Blue is accused of using law enforcement databases for no legitimate work purpose.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A former Cleveland police officer has been accused of falsification, an allegation that stems from his time on the force.

Blue, of Cleveland, resigned from the force in February after five years as a patrol officer, according to a police spokesperson and city records. In a filing earlier this year, officials listed a potential felony charge of unauthorized use of property at the Fourth District precinct in the city’s Mount Pleasant neighborhood.

Blue was charged by an information. That typically refers to charges brought by prosecutors in which a defendant cooperates with authorities and often pleads guilty.
