After the first weekend of Major League Baseball for 2026, there are only five teams left without a loss. Who is still perfect?

The most impressive thing about the Yankees' start? They only allowed the Giants to score one whole run during the three-game sweep.The Brewers mashed against the Chicago White Sox at home to begin their 2026 campaign. The best team in baseball last year during the regular season wants to get back to the playoffs and exact revenge on the Dodgers, and they'll need a top-tier offense like they showed opening weekend to do it. If Christian Yelich can keep up his form like he did against the White Sox for the rest of the season, he might turn back the clock and be a dark-horse National League MVP candidate.Sure, it was against the Colorado Rockies, but the Marlins might actually be good this season. The fans in South Beach were celebrating following an Owen Caissie homer to complete the sweep, and there is actual optimism for a team that has been stagnant for over a decade.News
