Police said multiple people ran from the car, and they detained three boys who were later released to their families.

“They took a true angel from our family, so It's just hard,” Meyers said. “Just really a good person and he just was full of love and a very strong person too.” “That’s the thing that sucks about this. He supported me so much, I wish I could’ve supported him,” Meyers added. Everett police said the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department tried to pull the suspect car over for a traffic stop before the crash, but the driver fled and was not pursued.
