Epic Games has released many Fortnite changes over the past few days, and the most recent one arrived with the v29.01 update.
Wings of Icarus is a new Fortnite item that has already gone through a couple of changes. Despite being in the game for less than two weeks, the item was both buffed and nerfed. Epic Games is still trying to find a perfect balance, which is why it’s no surprise that the latest change arrived on Wednesday night, just one day after the v29.01 update came out. The latest changed, which arrived on Wednesday night, increased the leap duration when launching in the air by 240%. Furthermore, Epic disabled the low gravity effect when holding wings. This nerf prevents Fortnite players from combining Wings of Icarus with Flowberries to gain an additional boost. While some players have already complained about this, the truth is that the item is more balanced than before.
