Many of these additions will come this year, while the game developer will save some of them for 2025. Either way, Fortnite players are in for a treat, especially those who want new features and constant changes. In late 2023, Epic revealed that the OG map would return once again.
Epic plans to ship the first Fortnite season in UEFN by the end of 2025, which is very exciting. In terms of development, this is fantastic for the community, as it likely means that players will have access to all maps available in Fortnite. It’s time for Fortnite development to move to UEFN and Verse. By the end of 2025, we will ship our first season of Battle Royale developed entirely in UEFN.
