Jay often gives fans a peek into his family life via Instagram. His recent posts feature him and Mimi, who got married in 2016, enjoying date nights and fun outings with their children. His mother was severely injured, but Jay, dubbed a "miracle baby", survived the accident despite sustaining critical injuries, including a fractured skull. Tragically, when Jay was four, his mother died in a car accident at the age of 21.
