BREAKING: Emmerdale shuts down filming amid coronavirus pandemic
pandemic crisis. With the highly contagious virus impacting the world globally, Emmerdale is the latest studio to take the measures to close down so that staff and production teams can self isolate.
Previously, the soap had held regular meetings to work out how to continue filming amid the crisis. It is not know how the shutting down of production will impact scheduling given that episodes are filmed 6-8 weeks in advance and at this stage, it can’t be confirmed how long it will last.
