The star took a daring fashion risk—and it totally paid off.
Typically, the Venice Film Festival is a chance for stars to channel their best Old Hollywood impression on the red carpet—but leave it to the always-stylish Emma Corrin to bring a different flavor to the event. This weekend, the star touched down in the city to attend Miu Miu’s Women’s Tales short film event, alongside stars such as Sydney Sweeney and Maggie Gyllenhaal. For the affair’s photo call, Corrin took a daring style risk that turned heads and totally paid off.
Turns out, going pantlessfrom Miu Miu’s fall 2023 collection, Corrin’s ensemble included a buttoned-up green cardigan with the matching briefs, worn over sheer black tights. The silhouette was unconventional, but surprisingly streamlined. The pantless look was repeated throughout Miu Miu’s fall collection, and made an appearance in the collections of Christian Siriano and Prabal Gurung, where chic evening blazers were worn only with briefs.
