Joey Votto drove in three runs, and Elly De La Cruz stole home to lead the visiting Cincinnati Reds to a key 8-5 win over the host Milwaukee Brewers.
This was a back-and-forth affair, with both offenses dealing big blows. The scoring started with Willy Adames hitting a solo home run in the first.
Christian Yelich drove in a run with a double and then Adames went deep again, this time driving in Yelich. Adames has 16 home runs on the season and led Milwaukee on the day with three runs batted in. After each team scored once in the bottom of the fourth and the top of the fifth respectively, the bottom of the sixth would begin the key sequence of the loss for Milwaukee.
