Ella Purnell, star of the upcoming Fallout TV series, reveals the frustration of playing Lucy, a character who loses a finger and gets a pale, dead-looking replacement. Purnell explains the prosthetic finger, nicknamed 'poop finger,' had to be painted on daily, becoming a source of annoyance on set.
Fallout star Ella Purnell shares one particularly frustrating part of playing Lucy on the hit series. Hitting Prime Video in 2024, the adaptation of the beloved video game franchise hails from creators Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet. Purnell leads the Fallout TV show cast as Lucy , a vault dweller who embarks on a quest across a post-apocalyptic landscape in an attempt to find her father.
That would actually be one of the worst things to happen to me. You know how annoying it is to have that finger painted on me every single day? This finger is the bane of my life. It's the worst thing. I think it was Mike Harvey, who was the makeup designer, and he started calling it poop finger and it caught like wildfire, and everybody started saying it, and then they, yeah, that's the name of it now. It's on the call sheet. It's a number on the call sheet.
