Freshido's owners are launching a new concept under their growing umbrella of restaurants.
Freshido Bar & Kitchen opens Dec. 2 at 2017 EG Drive in Lower Paxton Township at the Blue Ridge Village.will open at 2017 EG Drive in Lower Paxton Township with a different approach from its roots as a sushi burrito and bowl takeout spot.
Freshido Kitchen & Bar at 2017 EG Drive in Lower Paxton Township will focus on omakase, a style of premium sushi not found at traditional sushi restaurants.For the partners, the expanded menu takes them back to their roots. Chan grew up working in his family’s New Jersey takeout restaurants, while You is trained in Asian cooking and wok cookery.
“Omakase is more a refined version of the sushi and sashimi touched by the sushi chef with flavors. The taste is richer,” Chan said. “It’s chef’s choice to play it.”
