Sixteen years after Eden Espinosa’s last appearance on Broadway—in the closing cast of Rent, when that historic show’s final performance was recorded for theatrical release—she is finally back. This season, Espinosa stars in Lempicka, an ambitious new musical that seeks to restore another woman’s rich creative legacy.

It’s not easy at 46, I’m not going to lie. But I’m finding my stamina with every show; when I need to conserve and when I can just let go.
