“I went to DHR about mine Wednesday morning and there were two other people that were standing in line waiting to go in. Both of them had the same problem. When I asked what was going on, they said the state had not let them know anything but there was a huge breach in the state of Alabama,” Rodick said.
While DHR is working to fix the issue, it could take three weeks for refunds to be given out. Weeks that some families can not afford to go without food stamps.
