Anne Marie Lowery joined the Greenhills Slimming World group in May 2017 and lost 2st 7lbs in six months. Even more impressively, she’s kept the weight off ever since proving she’s made lifelong changes to her eating and activity habits.
A super slimmer from East Kilbride is backing research showing that weekly support really is the key to long term weight loss success.
“With Slimming World, the support that I needed was there right from day one, both from my consultant and the other members in the group. I picked up new ideas and recipes every week. Back in May 2017, Anne Marie began following Slimming World’s Food Optimising eating plan, which encourages slimmers to fill up on healthy, satisfying foods like fruit and veg, pasta, rice, potatoes, lean meat and fish so they lose weight without going hungry or feeling deprived.
Now she walks 10,000 steps a day and within a few months achieved her Gold Body Magic award, which she believes has been important in helping her to maintain her weight loss.
