An East Cleveland man is accused of illegally voting in seven elections since 2018 and is facing several felony charges.
CLEVELAND, Ohio —
Edwards was a legal permanent resident but not a U.S. citizen at the time when he voted, according to a spokesperson for the Cuyahoga County prosecutor’s office. It’s unclear how long Edwards has lived in the United States, but court records suggest he has been in the Cleveland area since at least 1978.
