McDaniel was the head coach in Miami in 2023 when Vic Fangio was his DC. That lasted just one year.Daboll, 50, was fired as the Giants head coach during this past season and finished up with a 20-40-1 record. Daboll was the OC at Alabama in 2017 so he has coached Jalen Hurts before. Daboll also has a relationship with Nick Sirianni. Daboll was the OC in Kansas City in 2012 when Sirianni was a wide receivers coach.
