The Vikings defeated the Eagles 26-3. Clint Hurtt, the Eagles’ defensive line coach and senior defensive assistant, interviewed for the Miami Dolphins’ defensive coordinator job last week. Hurtt, who is serving as the National team head coach at the Senior Bowl this week, was asked on Thursday at Hancock Whitney Stadium how that interview process went. “I felt like it went well,” Hurtt said. “The feedback I got was that it went really well. But nothing to really talk about right now at this point in time. But that already happened.”Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported If Hurtt is offered and accepts the Miami job, he would be the second defensive coach to leave Philadelphia for a promotion this offseason. Hurtt joined the Eagles in 2024 and has been instrumental to their success, mentoring a defensive tackle group featuring Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis and Moro Ojomo. Carter was an All-Pro in 2024. Davis was one of the most improved players in the league this past season. And Ojomo, a former seventh-round pick, established himself as a budding star. Hurtt has a unique connection to Miami, playing and coaching for the Hurricanes before starting his NFL coaching career. Hurtt worked for the Chicago Bears from 2014-16 and the Seattle Seahawks from 2017-23.
