Dates often differ over the festive period
The festive season is just around the corner - believe it or not! And that means that there are some changes to the upcoming benefit payments.
The Department for Work and Pensions has revealed the payment dates over Christmas and New Year, with millions across the country impacted. Scheduled payments may differ through the end of December and into January, but claimants will still receive their cash either on time or a little early. For example, if your payment is due on a bank holiday such as Boxing Day this year, you will be paid on the working day prior to December 26. However, there are some exceptions and it is important to be in the know.

Child Benefit Child Benefit is generally paid every four weeks on either a Monday or Tuesday. However, this changes if the due date falls on a bank holiday. The benefit is then paid early - which will be the case this festive period.
