Senate President Vicente Sotto III, who is running for vice president in 2022, followed closely with 71%. Duterte’s approval rating increased among respondents in all areas, with the highest in Mindanao at 97% , followed by Metro Manila at 77% , Visayas at 64% and rest of Luzon at 62% . The number of those who disapproved of her performance jumped 11 points from 23% to 34%, while those who were undecided decreased from 29% to 23%.
Meanwhile, Speaker Lord Allan Velasco obtained an approval rating of 31%, up two points from the 29% he obtained in the previous survey.
