Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves Druid

Dungeons & Dragons has been one of the most iconic franchises of all time, and there is no denying that after 2023’s Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, the franchise saw a major resurgence, reigniting the passion of old fans and sparking interest among new ones.

Now, this D&D renaissance will continue this summer with a brand-new four-part series.Dungeons and Dragons has spawned a multitude of comic series over the years, and now, on July 22, 2026, the latest comic entry arrives from Dark Horse Comics: writer Christopher Hastings and artists Denis Medri and Dan Jackson’s Dungeons & Dragons: Total Party Killers #1. Total Party Killers will kick off a four-part series that D&D fans who love party antics and the monsters that define the franchise will enjoy, as it brings a unique twist by gathering five iconic D&D monsters into their own adventuring party. Everything You Need to Know About Dungeons and Dragons New Series Main Cover by Elizabeth Beals for Dungeons & Dragons: Total Party Killers #1 Dungeons & Dragons: Total Party Killers #1 is now available for pre-order for $4.99, and while details about the series remain sparse, readers can find the official synopsis below: The wizard Custos has died, and his lair lies ripe for the taking! As adventurers raid the lair for treasure, the monsters enthralled by Custos in life must protect his domain even after his death. That is, unless the creatures can trick someone into releasing them! Thus, a lycanthrope, gelatinous cube, mind flayer, death knight, and baby beholder form their own adventuring party to win their freedom in a hostile world! Related Blizzard’s Diablo Officially Returns With a New 4-Part Series Fans Have Been Waiting For 2026 is shaping up to be an epic year for Diablo fans, with a new expansion on the horizon and now news of a new four-part series. Posts By TJ Mills The Five Monsters Leading Dungeons & Dragons: Total Party Killers, Explained Cover B 1:20 Matías Bergara Variant for Dungeons & Dragons: Total Party Killers #1 The synopsis is particularly exciting because it reveals the five types of monsters that will make up the dungeoning party in this series: a lycanthrope, a gelatinous cube, a mind flayer, a death knight, and a baby beholder. As a quick reminder, a lycanthrope is a humanoid afflicted with lycanthropy that allows them to transform into an animal or hybrid form. A gelatinous cube is one of the most iconic Dungeons and Dragons monsters of all time and was even featured in 2023’s Honor Among Thieves. It’s essentially a cube-shaped, dungeon-dwelling ooze that engulfs, paralyzes, and dissolves prey while leaving behind indigestible items. AKA, they are essentially a death sentence if you get yourself stuck in one. A mind flayer is an extremely dangerous psionic humanoid that feeds on brains and possesses abilities such as telepathy, mind control, and brain extraction. A death knight is an undead creature, often a fallen paladin or high-level warrior, that has been cursed after breaking their sacred oaths. And last but not least, a baby beholder is the cutest abomination you’ll ever see. A baby beholder, typically referred to as a gazer, is more of a nuisance than anything else and is a newborn beholder spawned from a parent’s intense dreams. Note that sometimes gazers result from a rare biological birth, though this is extremely uncommon. Gazers are much weaker than a full beholder when it comes to their species-defining eye-ray arsenal. This is a wild mix-match of monsters to make up a party, and given the extreme differences in intelligence levels and the point-blank communication hurdles, this will undoubtedly result in Total Party Killers being one of the most hilarious and fun Dungeons and Dragons series yet, meaning it is a must-read for all D&D fans.
