It is hoped that 'The Bank' within the old Bank of Scotland will open in August 2024
Plans for a Dunblane arts centre within the town’s former Bank of Scotland building are picking up speed.
An initial price tag has been put at £900,000 and there are hopes that the arts venue - to be called The Bank – will open in August next year. So far the project has received the support of MP Alyn Smith, MSP Keith Brown, Stirling Council Provost Douglas Dodds, and councillor Alasdair Tollemache as well as Stirling’s Macrobert Arts Centre.
He added: “Any surplus profits generated by The Bank will be reinvested back into the community in partnership with the Dunblane Development Trust.”
