Dry and hot for the Fourth of July. Strong storms expected Tuesday

Expect it to be hot and humid today, highs around 90 degrees.Tuesday is an ALERT DAY for the risk for two rounds of strong storms.With the first round Tuesday, heavy rain and damaging winds will be the biggest concern.

During the day, highs will once again be near 90 degrees with even more humidity around, so “feels like” temperatures will be near 100 degrees.Damaging winds, heavy rain, hail and a brief tornado cannot be ruled out.The team will continue to monitor the severe threat for Tiesday.
