Gauteng Transport MEC Jacob Mamabolo says it’s unlikely that Gauteng motorists will meet the grace period deadline to renew their expired licences.
Transport MEC Jacob Mamabolo has gone to the Temba DLTC in Hammanskraal to check on the progress in dealing with the backlog of licence renewals. This is ahead of the grace period deadline on 31 August. Mamabolo says it’s clear that many people will be left with expired licences by the time the deadline rolls around. eNCA’s Lindokuhle Xulu reports.
