There was no way the Divine Divas were missing the "Barbie" premiere!
According to a report by Aubrey Carampel, the drag queens graced the event in Pasay wearing Barbiecore outfits. Precious Paula Nicole, Viñas DeLuxe, and Brigiding took turns performing for their fellow Barbie fans. In an interview, Precious expressed her happiness because they used to only play with Barbie dolls, and now they could dress up as one.
"Pero syempre patago, patago kami dati," Precious said. "Kasi 'yung mga Ate namin 'yung mga Barbies. Captain Barbie muna, paunti-unti."It is a live-action film about the classic doll starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, alongside America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman and Will Ferrell.
The film also stars Ana Cruz Kayne, Emma Mackey, Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Scott Evans, Jamie Demetriou, Connor Swindells, Sharon Rooney, Nicola Coughlin and Oscar-winner Helen Mirren.
