DraftKings and the PGA Tour are calling this a 'first-of-its-kind partnership'.
Ten months after breaking ground, the DraftKings Sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale is ready for its grand opening.
PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan was at the groundbreaking last December. He said there was a time when he couldn’t envision a sportsbook opening at the site of one of the Tour’s venues but admitted if he had, “this would have been the location I would have said.”

Quigley had a three-shot lead and had the tournament in hand. Then he caught a bad lie in a bad spot on the par-3 14th. He chipped over the green, and then back to where he started. Quigley made double bogey and then had to hold on for pars for a 71 to win by one shot over Steven Alker. Steve Stricker tied for 15th. It was his first finish out of the top 10 this year.

Barjon wins final Korn Ferry event to get PGA Tour card. Tuten loses out on a penaltyPaul Barjon is headed back to the PGA Tour after a big weekend in the Korn Ferry Tour Championship. Barjon had a 64-68 and won the tournament by three shots. The victory moved him from No. 45 into the top 30 of the players who earn a spot on the PGA Tour next year. Shad Tuten thought he was going to be one of those players. He looked to finish at No. 30 until it was discovered he took an improper drop on the 15th fairway. He was given a two-shot penalty that knocked him out of the top 30.
