The Downtown Jonesboro Alliance completed a two-year lighting installation project.
It may be hot outside, but crews have been working non-stop in downtown Jonesboro to give the area a little improvement this week.
“This is part two of a year-long project. We did the first portion of these lights last year on Main Street from Burke to Huntington , and this year we’re able to complete the project from Huntington to Washington ,” Sarah Doss, executive director of the Downtown Jonesboro Alliance, said.It was part of a two-day Main Street closure as they made a laundry list of upgrades across downtown.
From Main Street to alleyways and parking lots, the string lights are up and ready to brighten up downtown at night.
