A double death probe has been launched after police discovered the bodies of two men at a property in Newcastle.
Officers responding to the report forced entry to the home in Welbeck Road, Newcastle, on Friday afternoon and discovered two bodies inside. A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "At 2pm on Friday, officers received a report of concern for the welfare of two men who had failed to attend appointments and had not been seen for a period of time.
“Their deaths are being treated as unexplained at this time and enquiries are ongoing. Their next of kin have been notified and our thoughts are with them at this time.”McDonalds worker Jorga Bell said: "It's something you never think you will witness.
