Many Beirut residents forced from their homes by Israeli bombardment are ending up on the streets, without even tents or basic shelter.
Skylar Celeste Boone During this week's Fire Prevention Week observance, the Dothan Fire Department will conduct numerous visits to schools, daycares, senior centers, and other public assemblies sharing the message of fire safety.
“The DFD maintains a strong partnership with area educational facilities allowing our members the ability to interact, teach, and share with our children the importance of fire safety,” said Travis Fretts, Community Risk Reduction Officer/Fire Captain. Nationwide, unattended cooking fires remain the No. 1 cause of household fires. Residents should never leave the kitchen while cooking.
