This station is the newest addition since 1999, according to Chief Williams.
After almost 16 years since Fire Chief Larry Williams took over and many challenges later, Fire Station 10 is now open and ready for service.
“We went through an economic downturn nationally, a devastating pandemic virus and numerous challenges, but we are finally here today,” Williams said. It is a station that is far more advanced than those in the old days, such as the one along Edgewood Drive that shut down years ago.Response time was a major motivation behind Station 10.
