Published: Oct. 17, 2024, 12:27 a.m. BEACHWOOD , Ohio -- Sometimes a friend just can’t be trusted, as a DoorDash delivery driver found out the hard way.

The woman told police that she had been delivering that day since noon while accompanied by a male friend. She said she called the man that day and asked if he wanted to keep her company as she made her deliveries, as he had done in the past.Making her fifth delivery of the day, the woman left the man in her car, with its key, as she went into the hotel to deliver a pizza. When she returned, her car and the man were gone.
