The gunman, named as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was fatally shot by Secret Service agents.
Trump also spoke with the Post about the widely circulated photo of him captured moments after the shooting, showing his face smeared with blood and his fist raised in the air.'A lot of people say it's the most iconic photo they've ever seen,' he said.
