Donald Trump has mocked Vice President Kamala Harris' polling numbers as the Democrat becomes her party's presumptive 2024 presidential nominee.On Sunday, President Joe Biden ended his reelection campaign and endorsed Harris in the race following weeks of pressure from Democratic figures in the wake of the president's poor CNN debate performance on June 27.

Newsweek has contacted Harris' office for comment via email.On Monday, a Quinnipiac University national poll of 1,257 registered voters showed Trump with a 2-point lead over Harris—49 percent to 47 percent—in a direct face-off.When other presidential candidates, such as independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr., were added for a six-way hypothetical race, Trump's lead extended to 4 points—45 percent to 41 percent. Kennedy placed third with 6 percent.
