A musical about Dolly Parton's life featuring new songs and old classics, will hit Broadway in 2026
Dolly Parton is no stranger to the theater. She’s contributed music and lyrics to the Tony-nominated 9 To 5 : The Musical as well as Dolly Parton ’s Smoky Mountain Christmas . However, today’s news is the pinnacle: Parton announced a new musical based on her own life, with her own music. It’s titled Hello , I’m Dolly , and the country superstar is writing the music, co-writing the book, and producing the show, which is set to take the stage in 2026.
