The Department of Labor and Employment issued pay guidelines for employers for their employees' work rendered during the holidays in April 2022.April 14: Maundy Thursday , said employees who will report to work on April 9, 14 and 15 will be entitled to double pay.
"If the employee did not work, he/she shall be paid 100% of his/her salary for days indicated [ x 100%], while for work done during the regular holiday, the employee shall be paid 200% of his/her regular salary for the first eight hours [ x 200%]," the DOLE said in a press release. "For working overtime , he/she shall be paid an additional 30% of his/her hourly rate [Hourly rate of the basic wage x 200% x 130% x number of hours worked]," DOLE said.
