Doja Cat is opening up with fans about her battle with borderline personality disorder.

“I’ll get it done. And it caught up with me, and I think it always does for people. The “Paint the Town” rapper added that she’s been dealing with the disorder for “probably forever,” describing it as an “agonizing condition.” “I’ve been in therapy for years now, and I am so relieved and so proud of myself,” she shared. “I’ve made it so far and I still make mistakes, but it is an eight-year process of curing, treatment, and healing.” Doja made the comments while praising singer Chappell Roan. She emphasized that while she is “not diagnosing Chappell Roan with BPD,” she understands why her fellow performer can sometimes appear “uncomfortable” on the red carpet. The “Pink Pony Club” singer has been seen scolding paparazzi on several occasions, oftentimes calling them out for being disrespectful and invasive. “I love that she can be uncomfortable comfortably in front of people and protect herself,” she continued. “I had to learn how to be honest with myself.
