The DOH said in a statement that the Vax-Baby-Vax Routine Catch-up Immunization Campaign aims to vaccinate 0-23 months old babies that will protect them from vaccine-preventable diseases.

The city also joined the Pinaslakas Immunization Campaign initiated by the DOH for the resumption of the face to face classes in the country.Mayor Laarni Cayetano said at least 10,000 individuals have been vaccinated in the city with their first dose, second dose, and first and second booster through the vaccination drive conducted in 23 elementary and high schools.

The PinasLakas campaign is part of the DOH’s nationwide Program to inoculate 90% of senior citizens and increase booster coverage of all eligible population to 50% by targeting individuals from various communities including schools, marketplaces, and transportation terminals.
