Will Euphoria season 3 ever actually happen? It’s the million-dollar question, and not even the cast is sure anymore. After season 2 ended in early 2022, Euphoria was immediately renewed at HBO , but more than two years later, fans are still waiting — and it looks like they'll be waiting for quite a while. Back in March 2024, HBO confirmed Euphoria season 3 had been delayed indefinitely and that, as a result, they would be “allowing the in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities.
When asked if she was planning to take a break after her hectic press run, the actor implied she had no time, saying: “I go into Euphoria.” And, well, that was before the show was put on pause indefinitely. Speaking to Who What Wear the same month, Sweeney said she actually liked having extra time between seasons 2 and 3. “I actually like it because there's so much room for growth for both me as a person and also Cassie as a character,' she said.
